SP19-22 U.S. HEALTHCARE: FACTS AND FIXES

Tuesdays: 1-2:20 pm
8 Sessions: Mar. 12-Apr. 30
TEMPLE BETH SHOLOM
Ronald Gottlieb

Take an in-depth look at the minimum requirements for an adequate healthcare system. We’ll discuss equality of access, what determines adequate care, preventable diseases, and how we deal with them, our right vs. privilege to adequate healthcare, measurements of results, comparison with other nations, and the costs of healthcare. The U.S. healthcare system is comprised of payers, providers, and suppliers. How do they interact with each other? Solutions to our healthcare problems have been proposed but were blocked. What blocked them? What are potential current approaches to the problem? Prepare to be well-informed on the U.S. healthcare system, past, present, and future.
Silver Member: $95; Gold Member: $85.50.
