Shared Interest Groups
Shared Interest Groups (SIGs) are a fun way to engage members with similar interests outside the OLLI classroom. If you would like to start a SIG, we’ve included a few ideas for inspiration. Those with asterisks represent new, ongoing, and former SIGS started by OLLI at Ringling College members. The others are SIGs from other OLLIs.
For more information or to complete a SIG application, visit www.OlliatRinglingCollege.org. Look for Shared Interest Groups under Programs.

Shared Interest Groups (SIGs) are open to all members (Gold and Silver). They foster a sense of community by allowing members to engage with others who share a common interest.
SIGs complement and enhance classes and other programs offered by OLLI.
SIGs are member-driven, not staff-driven. They are established, managed, and run by OLLI members.
SIGs do not take the place of OLLI courses.
SIGs do not compete with or duplicate OLLI courses.
A SIG’s vitality depends mainly upon its members’ active participation and commitment.
