    Anita Cohen is a former college instructor with a broad background in communication skills. Her focus has been on the relationship between language and culture, and the development of communicative competence in children. She received a doctorate from Fordham University (NY) and has been a consultant and conducted workshops in recognizing different styles of communication.

    Osher Lifetime Learning Institute at Ringling College (OLLI) is a division of Ringling College of Art and Design. OLLI operates year-round and is supported through student registrations and private contributions. OLLI courses are non-credit and primarily based on a liberal arts curriculum. There are no grades and no tests; courses are offered purely for the joy of learning. Students may attend classes at any of our locations, participate in Academy Talks, Einstein’s Circle discussion groups, and attend lectures and special events. Tuition varies depending upon course length.
