Arthur Kesten earned a doctorate in Chemical Engineering from
the University of Pittsburgh and is currently president of Nanocap Technologies, an intellectual properties company focused on innovative dehumidification processes. He previously led the United Technologies Research Center where he was named its Distinguished Engineer of the Year in 1997.

Osher Lifetime Learning Institute at Ringling College (OLLI) is a division of Ringling College of Art and Design. OLLI operates year-round and is supported through student registrations and private contributions. OLLI courses are non-credit and primarily based on a liberal arts curriculum. There are no grades and no tests; courses are offered purely for the joy of learning. Students may attend classes at any of our locations, participate in Academy Talks, Einstein’s Circle discussion groups, and attend lectures and special events. Tuition varies depending upon course length.
