    James Nims has a bachelor’s degree and spent his professional life involved in sales, marketing, training, and lifelong learning. He was an adjunct instructor at Modesto Junior College (CA), the director of corporate training at San Jose State University (CA), and the founding director of lifelong learning at University of the Pacific (CA).

    About The Author:

    Osher Lifetime Learning Institute at Ringling College (OLLI) is a division of Ringling College of Art and Design. OLLI operates year-round and is supported through student registrations and private contributions. OLLI courses are non-credit and primarily based on a liberal arts curriculum. There are no grades and no tests; courses are offered purely for the joy of learning. Students may attend classes at any of our locations, participate in Academy Talks, Einstein’s Circle discussion groups, and attend lectures and special events. Tuition varies depending upon course length.
