    Tom Skoloda is a retired psychologist and medical school professor. He is originally from western Pennsylvania; moved to Anna Maria Island in 1999 before moving to Bradenton. In 2010, Tom and his wife Alice Newlon biked across the United States. Tom is an avid biker, kayaker, and lover of the outdoors.

    Osher Lifetime Learning Institute at Ringling College (OLLI) is a division of Ringling College of Art and Design. OLLI operates year-round and is supported through student registrations and private contributions. OLLI courses are non-credit and primarily based on a liberal arts curriculum. There are no grades and no tests; courses are offered purely for the joy of learning. Students may attend classes at any of our locations, participate in Academy Talks, Einstein’s Circle discussion groups, and attend lectures and special events. Tuition varies depending upon course length.
